Cereus blossoming
Cereus
A friend of mine invited me to watch this miracle. Cereus blossoms once a year for twelve hours, and this particular plant already did recently. There was another bud, however!

Célébration de graduation
Once the program ended and the diplomas were issued, we inevitably celebrated. Some stayed for the traditional laundry room party. Several of us decided to go out and have drinks at Café Bar Zenob in Trois-Rivières. When we walked back to campus, Greg kept leading the beat while stomping his feet and drumming on his body with his hands. We all played along. Greg is from l’ile de la Réunion, and he is very passionate about African drums. We drummed on billboards, street signs and fences, and then we added voice. This ended up being one very exciting improvisation.
